The online video playing within a web browser cannot always be detected and downloaded to local drive with help of common downloaders (especially the video that is divided into multiple pieces). At this point, recording it using the traditional desktop/screen capture tools is our only choice. However, at least two deadly weaknesses exist when using them to record streaming videos:

1. The graphics quality is too low, and the frame loss phenomenon is very serious
2. During the video recording process, you can do nothing else but make sure the recording area keeps focused and not obscured, otherwise the unexpected things will be recorded

Adobe Media Encoder is an excellent multimedia transcoding software developed by Adobe Systems, supporting quite a lot of audio/video formats and encoding/decoding methods, and being able to work well together with many other Adobe applications (Adobe Flash, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Prelude, etc.), seamlessly.

Total Commander (TC for short) is written in Delphi by Christian Ghisler from Switzerland. It's originally called Windows Commander, but because Microsoft always says "Windows" was theirs (in 2002), it had to change to use its current name. The reason AppNee did not recommend this edge tool before is that we thought it is more suitable for advanced computer users (lets them ice on the cake), not a beginner at all (so daunting that makes most users feel confused and uninstall it immediately).
