Exanima is a dungeon exploration based hardcore action role-playing game, developed by Bare Mettle Entertainment from London. Players need to explore, fight and survive in a dark underworld (set in the Middle Ages of Europe), collect weapons and items, defeat enemies, solve puzzles, and finally find a way out of here. The overall game is very demanding on the player's controls and tactics, and clicking a mouse like in a traditional A-RPG won't get you very far.

Chasm is a pixel-style 2D action, adventure and role-playing game, developed by Bit Kid in 2013, and finally released in 2018. It combines the popular elements of Castlevania, Diablo, Metroid, The Legend of Zelda these classic video games. For example, it has the RPG game mode of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, map design of Metroid, random item dropping system of Diablo, etc.

As is known to all, these retro + pixel styles of small indie games are vogue for the moment. Crea's design and gameplay are similar with Terraria, Starbound or Planet Centauri, all of which have high playability. Yet Crea has its own difference and lightspot ('Key Features' lists part of them).
