Root Explorer (RE for short) is an extremely powerful must-have file manager for rooted Android OS (requires root permission to work), developed by Speed Software from United Kingdom. It enables users to access the whole Android file system (even including any hidden system data folders) and easily to perform operations with the highest authority required.

After using Ghost to backup a partition/disk (primarily operation system or data), you may encounter some problems like this: forgot to include some files, need to remove some unnecessary files, or some files should not have been backup, and so on. Similarly, if a .gho file was downloaded from Internet, we may also need to modify some files inside or just extract some files for use.

Windows Explorer builds in few functions, so many users would install a new Windows Explorer alternative software, such as Total Commander, although they are very powerful, yet one weakness is that they cost too many system resources and have to be familiar with the new interface and operation.
