The lifecycle of a software product is accompanied by the release of different versions, and each version has some changes from the previous version. For example: modified part code of the executable file, added/deleted/replaced some files. A common way for software authors or publishers to update their products is to release a brand-new installer, or just an update installer. But it is often inefficient and wasteful, especially when there is just little content to be updated.
