It is very small, portable (no installation required) and standalone (using the default voice engine in Windows), easy to use, runs fast with very low consumption of system resources, and integrates with the functionality of ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition).

Balabolka is a Text-To-Speech (TTS for short) freeware developed by Ilya Morozov from Russia, which can convert text into speech. In addition to being able to use all speech engines installed on your computer to read out the text, it also allows you to save the converted speech as multiple formats (WAV, MP3, OGG or WMA) of audio files. Partly, it is specially designed for people with disabilities or lazy guys.
