Ultra Fractal is a full-featured and very fast fractal animation making software developed by Frederik Slijkerman in 1999. It contains thousands of fractal types and coloring algorithms, supports zoom in/out function, uses gradients to add color, and is able to apply multiple layers to combine different fractals in one image - this layering method previously was only found in image editing software.
