Final Cut Pro is a professional nonlinear video editing software (written in Cocoa) for Mac OS X. Its first version was released by Macromedia in 1999, and later by Apple. It has been recognized as the best video editor on Mac OS, and especially welcomed by video hobbyists and independent filmmakers (such as: Kirk Baxter, Angus Wall, Leonardo Dalessandri, ...). Final Cut Pro X is a fully rewritten version released in 2011, and the last version of the original Final Cut Pro is 7.0.3.
