Castlevania, a horror action adventure game series created by the well-known game developer Koji Igarashi (いがらし こうじ, 五十嵐 孝司) from Japan, has been praised by numerous players around the world for its unique gameplay, diverse exploration and puzzle solving elements since it was first launched on the FC game console in 1986. Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (AKA: Devil's Castle Dracula X Chronicle, Akumajō Dracula: X-Chronicle, 悪魔城ドラキュラ Xクロニクル, 恶魔城 X 历代记/编年史) is a 2.5D (namely 3D graphics + 2D operations) HD remake of the immortal masterpiece on PCE (PC Engine) platform - Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. It was released on PSP (PlayStation Portable) game console by KONAMI in 2007. This was the first time for the whole series of Castlevania games to launch on PlayStation Portable handheld game console.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate (AKA: キャッスルヴァニア ロード オブ シャドウ 宿命の魔鏡) is first direct sequel of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, released by KONAMI in 2013 for Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360 (on Xbox Live Arcade) and PlayStation 3 (on PlayStation Network). This ported HD remake and updated version was released in 2014 for Windows (on Steam platform).

Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night is a puzzle role-playing game in Castlevania series, specially released for iOS (iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch) in 2010, and for Windows Phone in 2011.

Castlevania: Judgment (AKA: 悪魔城ドラキュラ ジャッジメント, Akumajō Dracula: Judgment) was the first VS fighting type of work after the Castlevania series appeared more than 20 years, as well as its sixth game using 3D graphics. Released by KONAMI in 2008 for Wii platform.
