Tenchu (AKA: 天誅, てんちゅう) is a highly creative and classic game series that redefined the gaming experience of ninja themed games, which opened up a new world for ninja stealth action type of games. Its first work was born on SONY's PlayStation game console in 1998, and then launched on PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, NDS and so on game consoles, most of which were developed and published by Acquire from Japan. As a Japanese ninja action game that focuses on sneaking and assassinating themes, Tenchu's appearance made this type of game a hit for players around the world, and the subsequent Tenchu 3 became even more famous. So far, it has released eight works.

The huge influence of Diablo made many players forget a better action RPG game - Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption, which was developed by a little-known small game company Nihilistic Software (now called nStigate Games) in 2000. It abandoned the way of representing a horror theme in the early 90s and adopted the game mode of Dungeons & Dragons. As a consequence, its release meant that horror game elements were eventually integrated into the role playing games.

Every senior game players should remember the classic DOS game in those days - Wolfenstein 3D (released in 1992), which is probably the first FPS game you came into contact with (the ancestor of all FPS games that came out even earlier than DOOM, for example: Quake series, Unreal series). I do believe that a number of players just started to like FPS games affected by this game.
