It is extendable (plugins support), scalable (built and tested for high traffic sites) and secure (externally XSS tested and built in Malware & Phishing link validation), and enables users to setup and maintain their own URL shortening service with ease.

Wurlie is pretty easy to setup and config, built with large traffic sites in mind, and comes with beautiful and responsive layout (works well on all kinds of media devices), fully functional admin area for managing the entire website, colored templates, user registration, short URL statistics info (referrals, unique visitors, web browsers, countries, and user operating systems), easy advertisement integration, social network sharing, batch URLs shortening support, developers API, members area, automatic QR code generation, plugins architecture, and more.

Wurlie has both feature-rich members area and admin area. For shortened URL, you can set a custom short url, including password, expiry date, maximum uses, and whether it's private or public. As for security, on the one hand, every long URL submitted is checked on both Google Safe Browsing and PhishTank for malware and phishing protection; on the other hand, it supports a blacklist by IP address，and is externally tested for XXS and SQL Injection attacks.
