Heatmaps are a visually captivating means of illustrating a particular parameter's value through a spectrum of colors overlaid on a standard map. Their appeal extends beyond aesthetics, as they also offer a simplified method of representing vast amounts of data.

World Heatmap Creator is a simple tool that allows users to visualize and analyze data on a global scale, developed by Vovsoft from Turkey. It produces an HTML-based world map, enabling you to pinpoint specific locations of your choice. It is ideal for generating maps that highlight the locations of a specific event, such as virus outbreaks, product sellouts, or similar occurrences.

World Heatmap Creator leverages OpenStreetMap as a platform for heatmap creation. It presents a dropdown menu of every country worldwide, each with a unique associated location. You have the flexibility to choose your desired locations and append them to your list, completing with their respective latitude and longitude. Adjusting these latter parameters allows you to create custom map locations.

You can import and export your location list via a CSV file. Once generated, the HTML map is stored locally in a directory determined by the user, ensuring it can be opened in any web browser. Upon opening, your selected locations are clearly marked with a colored circle, reminiscent of a heatmap.
