[v3.6] Voice Activated Recorder – Record automatically when sound intensity reaches a set threshold

Voice Activated Recorder is an automatic audio recorder for Android platform, developed by YHWMob-Lab (Hong Wen Yang) from Canada. It begins recording when sound intensity surpasses a set threshold, effectively bypassing periods of silence. So it is particularly ideal for prolonged recordings, such as those capturing snoring, breathing during sleep (including snoring and apnea), coughing, sleep talking, as well as meetings and classes.

Voice Activated Recorder features friendly and automatic threshold settings, allowing it to skip hours of silence while maintaining the original timestamps of recorded events. Additionally, it offers various functions including folder management, file sharing capabilities, the option to export recordings via USB or WiFi/Bluetooth transfers, merging and deleting recordings, an audio compressor for converting "wav" files to "m4a" to save storage space, and automatic playback with waveform visualization for ".wav" files.

Generally speaking, a snore is a regular wave, while talking is more likely to be irregular. Located on the ".wav" file player ( the waveform checkbox).
• Countdown timer. Set timer to turn off recorder, on the home page ( the timer icon).
