Visual Timer (AKA: Visual Timer - Countdown) is a simple and user-friendly cooking timer with clean and modern UI, developed by Christoph Wiesner from Austria. Besides cooking, it can also be used for work, education, daily life and other purposes.
Visual Timer allows you to easily and quickly setup a timer with a single tap. Its visual representation of the time enables a quick perception of the current state (time remaining or passing). But due to the focus on the visual representation and input of the time the maximum duration supported for a timer is one hour.
Anyway, you can also use Visual Timer at work to improve productivity and accountability, and keep tasks and meetings focused; use it to teach the kids the concept of time through the visual countdown, letting them see and understand the passage of time with ease; and use it to setup other common simple tasks in daily life.
After using both Kitchen Timer and Visual Timer for a period of time, I finally chose the latter. Because I personally prefer Visual Timer's simpler, cleaner, more modern UI design and more simplex functionality.
