This is the Universal Extractor (UniExtract for short) multilingual (34 languages) unofficial repacked (MOD) version made by Gora from Russia (OSzone forum). Its most important function is supporting auto-updating (also includes frequent program improvements). And the official version has stopped updating for a long time.
I will use Universal Extractor as often as I want to install some software (to get and test/check/scan its resource files for AppNee's pre-publishing), in order to use it to deal with the EXE installers bundled with malicious plug-ins which can not be detected by most anti-viruses. Besides, UE is also regarded as one of the most efficient methods to make portable software.
So, I advise you folks to try unpacking EXE installers before installation. So that we can use the software directly dispense with installation. Just try our best to keep our system as clean as possible.
