Ultrastar Deluxe is a free and open-source karaoke entertainment application for PC users, its inspiration comes from the SingStar music video game provided by SONY PlayStation console. It allows up to six players to sing along to a song or music video, and let players score points according to the pitch of voice and the rhythm of singing.
Ultrastar Deluxe compares your waveform with the original song well while you are singing, and then give you a score. The music score for songs can be generated from the built-in editor. In addition, different from the usual karaoke software, Ultrastar Deluxe has the following unique features:
- MTV is not subject to the format, they can be DivX, XviD, FLV, Avi, WMV, etc.
- Reinforced songs management function, supports to search media library and create playlists.
- Detailed statistical function
- Supports as many as 3 players on single screen, or up to six players on the double-screen
- Expand to the "party mode" through plugins, to provide a wide variety of playing methods
- Multinational languages support
