TempoPerfect (full name: TempoPerfect Metronome Software) is a a simple, easy to use, highly-accurate and free metronome software for Windows and Mac, developed by NCH Software from Australia. It enables user to adjust the speed you play the instrument by setting the beats, i.e.: letting the software update the rhythm of the instrument you play.

Unlike the traditional mechanical metronomes, TempoPerfect provides a clear and precise beat simulation that won't wind down. It also includes a tempo guide that is helpful for remembering the BPM for particular speed markings (e.g., Allegro). It can be controlled with a mouse or keyboard shortcuts, rather than a mechanical metronome's spring. You can adjust the speed, the number of beats, the number of beats in the beats, and so on parameters to suit the play speed of your instrument.
