PathSync is a folder synchronization applet, can be used to backup data, or the synchronization between USB flash disk and hard disk. The synchronous mechanism includes judging (bidirectionally) from the file condition - new or old; synchronizing from local to remote by force or vice versa. And after making an analysis, you can specify the synchronization mode for individual file.
Although PathSync is a relatively old software (developed in 2004), yet it seems that there are few people know it. This is one of the high-quality software developed by Cockos company founded by Justin Frankel who developed the well-known music player Winamp. And most of products developed by Cockos are also related to audio.
At first, developing PathSync is just for fun, nevertheless the result is unintentional their intention, instead they have made Pathsync into a small size, powerful synchronization application. Due to its functions have tended to be perfect, so it has not been updating for quite a long time. If you have any special ideas, please follow the GPL protocol, and make changes to the source codes by yourself in order to increase new functions.
