Compared with other expensive screen reading software, NVDA (short for NonVisual Desktop Access) is a very excellent and popular free, open-source screen reader specially designed for visual-disables to operate Windows OS and applications on it.
In fact, what NVDA does is to complete a transformation to the text content on your screen (from text to speech) through a speech engine like Siri. And what computer users with visual impairment should do is to cooperate with the appropriate speech engines and slowly adapt to this, that's all. Finally, NVDA enables you to be able to do a lot of things that may be completely unthinkable when close your eyes, such as:
- Use web browsers to browse webpages
- Use Microsoft Word to write a report, and then organize the content according to a strict format
- Write and publish blog posts
- Record, edit, mix and publish audio, like: singing and making music
- Use tools for audio production, like Reaper, GoldWave, Audacity and Sonar
- Use Eclipse, Visual Studio and ancient NotePad++ to code web or desktop apps

Key Features
Python, so if someone has mastered this kind of programming language, AppNee hopes you can help to improve NVDA to a certain extent, which can benefit more users, because NVDA's open-source. Ashamed, AppNee knows nothing about Python language and don't have enough ability to write such a powerful desktop application. But instead, we will put more compatibility and consideration for visually impaired users on our all web apps slowly, this especially includes SoulCourier and SoleWe.
