When it comes to optical disc (CD/DVD/Blu-Ray) burning software, AppNee guesses most people will think of Nero (originally called Nero Burning ROM) first! If I regarded it as the big BOSS among all burning tools, that would never went to far.

As the leading burning software in the whole industry, although Nero is getting fatter, accordingly, its functions are also becoming more and more, which is forgivable more or less. It developed from a simple burner with single function to now full-featured HD multimedia suite which integrates optical disc burning, creating, playing, video editing & converting, data backup, and many other related functions in one place, as well supports ISO image burning and Disc image mirroring.

For any classic software, I can't summarize all its advantages one by one in a short essay, so I just shut my mouth. Instead, AppNee are responsible for providing everybody the effective resources of all versions of Nero as usual, including many classic versions.

  1. Download and install Nero Platinum Suite
  2. Respectively copy the unlocked files to the following path and overwrite:
    • Common Files -> C:\Program Files (x86)\
    • Nero 2020 and Nero D2D -> program installation path like: D:\Program Files\Nero\
  3. Done
*** You'd better use your firewall to block Nero, or use it offline.

*** Do ever not click the user icon (i.e.: the "Account settings" icon) on the top left of program interface. Otherwise, you have to log in first before using this program all the time.

*** If you like to install programs to their default path, then using the unlock patch is an easier way.

for Nero Platinum Suite v20.0:

  1. Uninstall the previously installed versions of Nero Platinum Suite
  2. Download and install Nero Platinum Suite with the serial number below (if they do not work, run the Patch to allow the installation):

  3. Run the universal unlock patch and apply

  1. Disable your Internet connection temporarily
  2. Install program to the default path
  3. Run the unlock patch as administrator
  4. Block program with your firewall, or add the following lines to your hosts file:

The unlock patched might be reported as Threat: Win32:Malware-gen threat with high severity. Use VirusTotal to make a full, authoritative scan.
