Installation Notes

for v2023.4.2:
  1. Install Lumion using this method (time-consuming, requires about 68.1 GB disk space):
    1. Run cmd
    2. Enter the folder where your setup is in
    3. Run one of the following commands to perform a silent installation in the custom location (skip the activation code requirement):
      • Lumion_2023_4_2_Download.exe -s -d "X:\Lumion"
      • Lumion_2023_4_2_Download.exe --silent --silentinstalldir "X:\Lumion"
  2. Copy the online/offline unlock patch to installation folder, run it as administrator, and apply (password: cgpersia-zmco)
  3. For online patch, make sure your hosts file does not contain the following lines (otherwise LiveSync feature will not work); for offline patch, make sure they are there:
    • 127.0.0.1 backup.lumion3d.net
    • 127.0.0.1 license.lumiontech.net

*** Using online path, the Internet connection is required (do not block this program with your firewall). Using offline path, Lumion works well both online and offline (you can use firewall to block it or not).

  4. Paste the Lumion code to the generator's corresponding window
  5. Save the text file when the generator asks you to do this
  6. Open the saved text file, and copy everything from the second line (included) to the last line (before "SerialNumber")
  7. Paste these text back to Lumion's activation window
  8. Done
*** Make sure to save multiple text files in step 5 for later use, because users reported that this lic tool only works once.

*** You will need to force close the program in order to exit it (via Task Manager)

*** You will always need to paste the code at every start of the software (the benchmark run only once)

*** If you have problems with loading into the DWG mode, just install the DWG Loader plugin

  2. After installation, do not run it now!
  3. Enter C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, open the file "HOSTS" with Notepad, and add the following 2 lines and save:

    • 127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com
  4. Run the crack patch as administrator and click "PATCH"
