Everything comes at a price. The advantage of cross-platform application developed with Electron and similar software frameworks is that the program has cool interface and nice features, but the obvious disadvantage is that the file size is too large, e.g.: the Mini Diary AppNee just shared. But I personally can't stand any large files, whether it's software, game, or even database.

In My Diary is a free, easy to use and small personal diary application for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms, developed by Kevin Edwards (a retired teacher and musician) from England. It has a traditional, diary-looking user interface (very similar to DiaryOne), supports multiple languages, can help you organize all your upcoming tasks and calendar events, generate and store your passwords, keep track of personal notes, keep your financial accounts, manage your contacts database, and more.

In My Diary can be regarded as a complete solution for you to manage most of your personal data. In addition to keeping a diary journal, it also offers many other useful features like time management, calendar events, to-do list, linked notes, email reminder, support for import/export (iCal, vCard), keyword search, built-in password generator, one-time and recurring events with customizable colors, etc.

In terms of privacy security, In My Diary is safe enough. Because it offers triple encryption, a dedicated banking section for your most sensitive data, as well as optional password configuration for accessing its main menu and mandatory password set up for the password management and generation.
