HxD is a carefully designed professional hex editor made by Maël Hörz from Germany, comes with tiny file size and runs fast. AppNee would like to responsibly tell you, it is absolutely not less favorable than any other commercial hex editors on the market.
In addition to basic hexadecimal code processing functions, HxD also supports to quickly open large files, and has the capacity to direct edit content on hard disk or RAM (which only can be seen from some expensive commercial hex editors). Moreover, HxD allows to output hexadecimal data as many common program codes directly, such as C, Java, Pascal. In this case, you can immediately import these data to applications for use, so as to avoid the hassles of do-it-yourself.
All in all, as a very small and free hex editor, the features of HxD are already enough, we do believe that it can meet the needs of most users.
