GameAssassin is a very powerful game model interception program, developed by sky from China in 2005. It was originally designed to assist its author in the research of 3D game rendering. It has similar functionality with 3D Ripper DX, but it is a lot more tricky to use. It supposedly can rip everything in D3D9, D3D8, D3D7 and OpenGL games, and is suitable for both game lovers and developers.

The main function of GameAssassin is to help users intercept data such as models, textures, skeletons, skeleton animations, Vertex Shaders, Pixel Shaders, etc. and do analysis from running 3D games, whether it is a large stand-alone game, 3D online game, or web game. It also has some auxiliary functions for 3D games, such as force the game to run in window mode, make the game display in wireframe mode, intercept the position of the viewpoint, turn off the fog effect, change some rendering states, and so on.

All functions of GameAssassin can only work while the game is running. It supports two working modes: normal mode and external mode (the switching of the two modes can be found in the settings). D3D7 can only work in normal mode, OpenGL can only work better in external mode, while D3D8 and D3D9 are supported in both modes. In addition, GameAssassin has an autorun mode, which allows it to work quietly in the background.

Edition Statement

AppNee provides the GameAssassin multilingual portable full registered versions for Windows 32-bit & 64-bit.

Prompts

  • It's recommended that you try using 3D Ripper DX before using GameAssassin. It can be difficult to work with and should be more of a last resort option for ripping models.
