Friendly Net Viewer (FViewer for short) is a very friendly network administration, (network status) visualization and monitoring freeware with a wide range of advanced features. It is originally a part of Friendly Pinger.
Friendly Net Viewer has an appealing, animated, clean and straightforward UI, as well as lots of options for you to: scan all available network devices; ping all devices at the same time using one of the three ping modes (Raw-socket, Icmp.dll, or economical ping); set the ping frequency and timeout; track users' access to your computer; and send external commands (such as shutting down or rebooting a device). Moreover, it supports shortcuts operation for most functions it provides, so as to make it easier to use.

Friendly Net View lets you add any connected/online devices (including your own workstation, other computers in LAN, mail servers, routers, Internet servers, etc.) to your network map for monitoring and management. The every added device can be edited, configurated or adjusted, and will be monitored all the time. In other words, when some device in the network is opened/closed, you will receive notification.
In short, as a powerful but surprisingly user-friendly network application, Friendly Net Viewer enables you to completely control over your network (monitor, administrate and visualize it) with spending as little time and effort as possible.
