EasyPHP is a complete integrated development environment installation package designed primarily for the PHP language on Windows, developed by Laurent Abbal from France. It integrates various server modules and components: PHP, Apache, Perl, NGINX, MySQL, Zend, PhpMyAdmin, Xdebug, Python, etc., and there is no need to configure your development environment manually. You can use it to easily create websites and write Web applications locally.
EasyPHP is a combination of Devserver and Webserver. Devserver installs a complete and ready-to-use development environment. It allows you to setup a local server with the same characteristics as your production server, so that you can develop locally anywhere, thanks to the portability of the system.
Webserver turns your computer into a ready-to-use personal web hosting server. You can host whatever you want directly on your computer and share it on internet like any website. Then your computer acts like a web hosting service and allows you to make your website / application / demo accessible via internet.
In short, you can develop with Devserver and host / share with Webserver. Better yet, both of them are portable, modular, fully configurable and easy to update and extend via modules and components. After integration, Apache, MySQL, and PHP are much simpler and run faster and more stable than being independently installed. As a native development environment, EasyPHP does not integrate performance optimization tools such as Zend Optimizer. Also, non-local access is disabled by default, so the settings can run locally to the maximum extent possible, regardless of port 80 being occupied. In addition, EasyPHP can be used with Apache NetBeans, without the need to install any other tools or plug-ins.
