Dark Room is a very simple and tiny pure text editor, which is basically a clone of the WriteRoom on Mac OS X and specially designed to let you pay more attention in writing (logs, reports, articles, programs, etc.) with no distractions.
Unlike common text editors, the main feature of Dark Room is to make user concentrate his attention to what he is doing. By default when you start the editor, the software will automatically expand its editing area in way of full screen, and except green text, other area is black (of course, both font color and background color are customizable).
Dark Room makes everything needed for basic text editing functions ready, such as copy, cut, paste, search, etc. If you want to be able to write code or article, report in front of computer and avoid the interference from other factors (for example, viewing your personal space, surfing the web, chatting, etc.), so as to focus on things in your hand, then Dark Room is a very good choice.
