Cover Retriever is a free and open-source program that helps you quickly add album cover arts and tags to your MP3/FLAC audio files on Windows. It comes with intuitive GUI and is very easy to use. Cover Retriever can help if you have a lot of songs on your hard drive that are missing album covers.
After importing the desired songs, Cover Retriever starts searching the Internet by album title, artist and song title and suggests suitable covers for download. With a double click, you can view the pictures in their original size and either integrate them directly into the corresponding track or save them as a separate file. If you are missing separate ID3 tags for songs, Cover Retriever can find information by searching on the music portal "Last.fm".
The album covers search is based on data obtained from the tags of file and processing through Google search engine. The tags search allows you to fill out tags of audio files, including title, artist, album and year. The tags can be easily saved into file by clicking one button. The search is based on AcoustID service to get the best results.
