Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse is the third 8-bit game work in the Castlevania series for the Nintendo Entertainment System console, was published by Konami in 1989. This game took Nintendo's game development level at that time to the extreme, its gameplay is very similar to that of the first generation, but has vastly improved graphics and music. Moreover, it also introduced the concept of companions and sub-plots for the first time, and has 15 levels. So, it was definitely a masterpiece that could make players forget to eat and sleep at that time!
Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse Remake (formerly called Super Castlevania 3: Demo, AKA: Dracula's Curse Remake, now called Dracula's Curse 2020) is a complete and popular remake and port work of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse made by fan players, which was started by Obreck2 more than a decade ago and finished by Ivan Ivanov from Russia in 2020. The design of this game is more smooth, the operation is more simple, it pays more attention to operability and playability, its content is very rich, and supports Windows and Android platforms. Moreover, it comes with updated graphics, new scenes, as well as some new elements.
Just like the original, you can choose your own path, then the final of game will depend in the future. Besides, the game plot, mechanics and combat system practically remain the same, but the innovations include: there is the possibility of hitting with a whip in different directions, they added a bounce back, and there is an opportunity to choose skins. Even better, Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse Remake contains completely reworked heavy metal soundtracks with mixed symphonic arrangements.

History of Development
Over a decade ago, Obreck2 took it upon himself to transfer the official video game Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse from the NES console to the most common Windows platform. Later, Obreck2 abandoned his project, and it was picked up by a group of enthusiasts. But they also broke down and posted all the source code to the public access in 2019.One year later, Ivan Ivanov finally brought the development to an end (even though it was almost finished before that time). In 2020, he released a Windows version called "Dracula's Curse 2020", and in 2021, he ported this game to Android platform.

Use Instructions
for v0.3 Beta:- This version needs to run under Windows 7 compatibility mode.
- Press ESC to exit game, Alt + F4 to switch between full-screen and window modes.
- Press ALT + Enter to enter full screen, or simply drag the window to the size you need using the mouse.
- The standalone version: which you can even run from a flash drive; the setup version: with the ability to replace music or player sprites.
- The Android version (both ARMv7 and x86 devices are supported) is much more buggy, but still passable. And it is recommended to use a third-party gamepad, because the on-screen control works, but it is not so convenient by default, especially in such a dynamic game.
