Castlevania Advance Collection is a compilation package of 4 classic Castlevania games, released for Nintendo Switch, PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms by KONAMI in 2021 (on its 50th Anniversary Celebration). As its name suggest, this is just a pure collection of games + some supportive features, nothing else to look forward to. For example: the graphics of games are not as good as many emulators do. In other words, it is more suitable for fans of Castlevania to collect, and won't surprise you much.
Castlevania Advance Collection consists of 3 Castlevania games originally released on the Game Boy Advance (GBA) handheld console from 2001 to 2003: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow; and Castlevania: Dracula X, which was originally released on the Super NES (SFC) in 1995. In addition to these 4 legendary Castlevania game works, this collection also includes some never-before-published manuscripts and artworks for the game.
However, it is worth mentioning that all games are enhanced with newly added modern features such as Rewind, Save/Load and Replay, making this the best way possible to experience these classics or discover them for the first time. Besides, this collection also boasts a handy Encyclopedia, a Music Player with all soundtracks, and you can even change the ROM Region to play all games in different versions.
