Battle City Remake – 3D remake edition of the classic Battle City

Battle City Remake is a 3D remake of the classic multi-directional shooter video game Battle City developed and published by Namco from Japan in 1985 for the NES/FC console, developed by an independent video game studio Bad Mouse Digital Art from Chile in 2020, made with Unity. It enables you to experience a more comfortable and wonderful tank battle, back to the happy memories of childhood.

Battle City Remake made a comprehensive upgrade to the original graphics: 3D bricks, realistic lighting, audio and explosion effects, high-definition picture quality, increasing the visual impact of the battle scenes, and more. But the game's maps, gameplay, and controls almost have not changed, even the custom map functionality has been implemented. In addition to the in-game 35 levels that maintain the same layout and destruction level as the original game, players are also allowed to create and share custom levels using the built-in map editor.

Battle City Remake's background sound and music of the Maniacs of Noise style is the same as the original work, with simple rhythm and prominent sound effects, which make the scenes full of tension. However, the game is slightly more difficult than the original Battle City. A lot of attention has been paid to the level design, not just imitation and simple production. In summary, Battle City Remake should not be missed for players who like tank shooting games.
