Usually, to save a whole web page or just part of the content to our local disk, we have only two ways for choise: 1) use the browser built-in print function (Ctrl + P) to save an entire page as a PDF file; 2) copy the corresponding content and paste them into a local, new created TXT or DOC file, which requires at least 4 steps to finish: copy the text and/or image -> create a new file and name it -> open this new file -> paste the content from clipboard to file and save the file.

MKV (Matroska Multimedia Container) is an increasingly popular video format. In some cases we need to extract the resources from MKV video so as to obtain the video, audio and subtitles inside separately for other use. For example, make an audio version of a film/TV play; edit, modify, or translate the subtitles (and then use MKVToolNix to repack them all). At this time, we can use MKVExtractGUI this tiny app to solve the requirement perfectly.

Nowadays a lot of people are keen to make presentations on computer to express their ideas. For example: teacher uses PPT and Flash to make courseware, financial staff uses it to show reports, designer demonstrates conception, and so forth. But presentation based on slideshow is missing the interaction and convenience of the traditional blackboard/whiteboard, which leads to such a bad result that both lecturers and audiences can only passively march forward following the scheduled architecture. This seems to be efficient, but is actually not as free and flexible as "a piece of paper + a pen".

Although the time display in the system tray is essentially on the desktop, its dimension is too small and cannot achieve the effects provided by many 3rd-party desktop clocks - letting you notice the presence and elapse of time in every moment of the day.

Cat Mario 3 is not a successor of the fan-made small indie game Super Mary Cat or Syobon Action (AKA: しょぼんのアクション) developed by Chiku from Japan in 2007, both of which were totally inspired from a Flash game - The Life-Ending Adventure (AKA: 人生オワタの大冒険, The Big Adventure of Owata's Life). It was developed by Lester (Lest-Soft) in 2014, comes with better graphics. Yet they have the almost identical gameplay and game mode.

A few days before I wrote this post, my laptop keyboard had at least 9 keys broken due to water splashing. In the meantime, I first used the Keyboard Map Tool to temporarily modify the key mapping of those broken keys in order to continue to use this keyboard constrainedly. Afterwards, I found this Keyboard Test Utility, which helped me determine all the broken keys. In the end, I also use it to test the validity of all keys on my newly-bought USB external keyboard.

As of this writing, the T, Y, Tab, Caps Lock, number 5, left Shift, left Win, [, ], and Backspace keys on my laptop's keyboard do not work due to water leakage. Before buying a new external USB or wireless keyboard, I thought of and really tried some keyboard keys remapping tools for the first time. After simply testing KeybMap and KeyTweak, I did prefer the former (although the latter is more powerful), and could not wait to recommend it to everyone.

Total Commander (TC for short) is written in Delphi by Christian Ghisler from Switzerland. It's originally called Windows Commander, but because Microsoft always says "Windows" was theirs (in 2002), it had to change to use its current name. The reason AppNee did not recommend this edge tool before is that we thought it is more suitable for advanced computer users (lets them ice on the cake), not a beginner at all (so daunting that makes most users feel confused and uninstall it immediately).
